This collaboration with Buff’s neckwear was commissioned as a birthday gift for Phiture’s employees. The marketing team was very specific about wanting an item of clothing that would inspire the owner to go outdoors into nature, just by looking at it.
This neckwear piece is indeed designed to be an extra layer of protection for hiking trips in windy weather, but not too cold nonetheless.
That’s why I decided to design a breathtaking view of a sunset: that moment of the day where is not so hot anymore and a fresh breeze is starting to kick in.

The idea for the Phiture Xmas merch for 2023 was initially sweaters. Funny Santa-themed sweaters to gift to the employees to wish them happy holidays in a not-so-corporate way.
But let’s be honest here: no metter how funny, cute, or stylish I would have managed to craft them, 85% of those sweaters would have been worn probably once (at the office party, of course) and then left rotting in the corner of a closet.
Sweaters are way too personal and hard to design to fit everyone’s fashion taste.
So then I started thinking about something equally christmassy, equally warm, but easier to rock - and take off if needed.

And which sports team rocks some of the best fan merch? Football. I start researching best football scarves, and from there..well. I tried crafting one for each and every taste. It was mega fun, especially to present them to the company. - you can see how.

The HR stickers focus on all those formal and informal greetings they deal with on a daily basis: wishing speedy recovering to an employ on sick leave, thanking a client for a successful collaboration, celebrating a great team player for a successful project.
The team stickers are more playful and meant to be used among Phiturians as little inside jokes: cheering for a canceled meeting or enjoying the monthly learning day. And above all, recognising Slack as that evil creature constantly plotting your burnout behind your back.

I was asked to envision something cutting edge and provocative, that would evoke the essence of Phiture’s mission - which is to create loyal audiences to growing mobile apps.
And what that means is really to create a product so engaging and so exciting that would effortlessly hook thousands of users to their devices.
This idea of an evil mission, was merged with the soul of Phiture, which was an agency of talented and fearless professionals, devoted to their mission with a touch of rebellion: a true rock ‘n’ roll family.

A cute, eco-friendly little gift, that lasts a lifetime. The pattern, an homage to the OG designers of the item: the bees. Little geometric flowers to thank them for a magnificent job, helping us make Mother Earth a better place, and our fridge, a lil less stinky.

The context in which this artwork was created was actually an pretty difficult period for Phiture’s business: they had lost some pretty important clients and fighting really hard to keep the boat floating.
Simultaneously we were transitioning from autumn to winter and the merch itself was supposed to be a cozy, warm hoodie to make it through the Berlin winter.

And that’s where the idea “The game got tough, but we got hot stuff” in the sense that: business is challenging but we’re pulling out the big guns - but also - winter is coming but we have some cozy jumper to help you survive it.
And, in case you didn’t noticed, the crochet pattern is intertwined in the shape of Phiture’s logo.
